DATA HANDLING BRIEF

Privacy Policy

How CoreAtlasHub - BubbleCatch handles game data, device information, local storage, leaderboard entries, and third-party services.

Effective: July 18, 2026Last updated: July 18, 2026

00 / QUICK READ

The short version

  • No account is required to play.
  • The game does not contain advertising or behavioral analytics.
  • The game does not sell personal information.
  • The game code does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Online play uses a session record, IP address, and browser/device information for leaderboard operation, security, and anti-cheat review.
  • A commander name and score are public only when a qualifying score is submitted to the leaderboard.
  • Data sent off the device by the Game uses HTTPS encryption in transit, and data stored in managed server infrastructure is encrypted at rest.

01 / SCOPE

Who and what this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to CoreAtlasHub - BubbleCatch (the “Game”), including the web version and any version distributed through an app marketplace that displays or links to this policy. In this policy, “Core Atlas Hub,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Game.

This policy covers information handled by the Game. A browser, device operating system, app marketplace, network provider, or linked external website may process information under its own terms and privacy policy.

For this policy, “collect” includes required user data sent off your device by the Game or by any library, service, or software development kit used by the Game, whether the data is sent to us or directly to a service provider. “Share” includes user data transferred from our servers to a third party or from the Game to another third-party app on the same device.

If a distributed app version opens Game content or a service inside an embedded WebView, user data collected or transferred through that WebView is covered by this policy. This does not include a user independently navigating the open web; the destination website’s privacy policy then applies.

02 / DATA MAP

Information we collect or process

CategoryWhat it includesWhen and why
Game preferences and progressSound choice, reduced-motion choice, selected character, highest level reached, and a cached copy of leaderboard entries.Stored locally on the device so settings and progress remain available between visits.
Gameplay session dataA random session identifier, selected character, session timestamps, score, level reached, play duration, submission status, and anti-cheat rejection reason when applicable.Created when online play starts and used to operate the Game, validate scores, prevent duplicate or manipulated submissions, and maintain the leaderboard.
Network, device, and diagnostic informationInternet Protocol (IP) address, approximate location that may be inferred from an IP address, user-agent string, browser or device type information, request time, requested endpoint, and operational or security logs.Processed when the Game or its online features are accessed for delivery, security, diagnostics, fraud prevention, and anti-cheat review.
Leaderboard informationThe commander name or handle you enter, score, level, play duration, and submission time.Collected only when a qualifying score is submitted. The commander name, score, and level may be displayed publicly.

User-initiated sharingPrepared share text containing Game information, such as a score or Game link.Transferred to the operating system share sheet, a selected third-party app, or the device clipboard only after you choose the sharing action.

We do not ask for precise GPS location, contacts, photos, camera access, microphone access, health information, financial account information, government identification, or biometric information.

03 / DEVICE STORAGE

Cookies, local storage, and similar technology

The Game code does not set cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics. It uses browser localStorage to remember game preferences, progress, and a cached leaderboard. Local storage remains on the device until it is cleared through browser or app settings.

Our hosting provider may use essential network and security technology to deliver the Game and protect its services. Google Fonts is loaded from Google servers; as a result, the device makes a request to Google that can include an IP address, user-agent information, and other standard request data. We do not use that request to build advertising profiles.

04 / PURPOSE

How information is used

  • Provide, maintain, and improve gameplay and accessibility preferences.
  • Create secure sessions and operate the global leaderboard.
  • Validate score plausibility and prevent cheating, replay, abuse, and fraud.
  • Diagnose errors, maintain service availability, and protect users and infrastructure.
  • Respond to support, legal, and privacy requests.
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our rights.

05 / DISCLOSURE

When information is shared

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be disclosed in these limited circumstances:

  • Public leaderboard: a submitted commander name, score, and level may be visible to anyone who opens the leaderboard. Do not enter a real name or other information you do not want made public.
  • Netlify: the Game sends gameplay session data, leaderboard submissions, IP address, user-agent information, request information, and privacy-form submissions to Netlify for hosting, serverless functions, network delivery, security, operational logs, database infrastructure, and form handling. Netlify processes this information on our behalf to provide these services.
  • Google Fonts: the Game requests font files directly from Google servers. This sends standard request data such as an IP address, user-agent information, and request time to Google, even though we do not receive that request data from Google.
  • Managed database transfer: the Game’s Netlify serverless functions transfer gameplay sessions and qualifying leaderboard submissions to the managed Netlify Database for storage and leaderboard operation.
  • Device share sheet, clipboard, and selected apps: after you activate the score-sharing feature, prepared share text is transferred to the device share sheet or clipboard and, if you select another app, to that app. The operating system and selected app process the information under their own privacy terms. The Game does not read your contacts or existing clipboard contents.
  • Legal and safety: information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, investigate abuse, protect rights or safety, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the Game.

The Game does not currently include advertising, behavioral analytics, or other third-party app SDKs that collect user data. If that changes, this policy will be updated to identify the data and recipients.

06 / RETENTION

How long information is kept

Local preferences, progress, and cached leaderboard data remain on the device until browser or app storage is cleared. Leaderboard scores and related gameplay session records may be retained while the leaderboard operates, until a valid deletion request is completed, or longer when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Privacy-request submissions are retained as needed to respond, verify completion, and meet legal obligations. Hosting and security logs are retained according to operational needs and the service provider’s applicable settings and retention practices.

We may de-identify or aggregate information so it can no longer reasonably identify a person. De-identified information may be retained for analytics, security, and service improvement.

07 / SECURITY

How information is protected

All user data that the Game sends off the device—to Game APIs, Netlify services, the privacy-request form, and Google Fonts—is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Gameplay session, leaderboard, operational, and privacy-request data stored in managed server infrastructure is encrypted at rest. We also use server-generated session identifiers and restricted score-submission rules.

Information kept in browser or app localStorage remains on the device and is not separately encrypted by the Game; it is protected by the browser, operating system, and device security controls. Information transferred through a device share sheet, selected third-party app, clipboard, or email is protected according to the operating system and receiving provider. Ordinary email may not be end-to-end encrypted, so the HTTPS privacy form is the preferred method for sensitive privacy requests.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

08 / CONTROLS

Your choices and privacy rights

  • Local data: clear the Game’s site data in browser or app settings to remove locally stored preferences, progress, and cached leaderboard data.
  • Leaderboard: score submission is not required for ordinary gameplay. If prompted for a commander name, use a nickname that does not identify you.
  • Access, correction, or deletion: submit the privacy form below or email strykmediallc@gmail.com. Include the commander name, score, level, and approximate submission date needed to locate the data. We may request reasonable verification before acting.
  • Regional rights: depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to appeal a response. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

The Game does not create user accounts, so there is no account-deletion flow. You may still request removal of leaderboard, gameplay session, support, or other user data associated with you by using the form or email address above, subject to information we must retain for security or legal obligations.

09 / AGE

Children’s privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, use the privacy form below or email strykmediallc@gmail.com so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

10 / TRANSFERS

International processing

The Game and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your home country. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers.

11 / APP STORES

Google Play and other marketplaces

If you install or access the Game through Google Play or another marketplace, the marketplace may independently collect information such as account, device, installation, purchase, diagnostic, and usage information under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your Google account password, payment card number, or full marketplace account record from Google Play.

12 / UPDATES

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game, its services, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision. Material changes may also be announced in the Game or through an app marketplace when appropriate.

13 / CONTACT

Privacy contact

Submit the HTTPS form below or email strykmediallc@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests, including requests to access, correct, or remove user data. Include enough leaderboard detail to locate the relevant entry, but do not send passwords, payment information, or government identification.
